From 22 to 24 June 2026, Poietis Biosystems exhibited at the EUROoCS 2026 Annual Meeting at Forum Braga, Portugal.
EUROoCS - the European Organ-on-Chip Society - gathers the community building microphysiological systems: organ-on-chip devices, 3D tissue models and the assays that run on them. It was the right room for us, because the question we keep hearing there is the one our platform is built to answer: how do you make these models reproducible, and how do you scale them from a promising result to a routine one?
Our team welcomed visitors at the Poietis Biosystems stand to talk through their bioprinting projects, from early 3D tissue models to organ-on-chip applications and the path toward GMP manufacturing.
What laser-assisted bioprinting brings to organ-on-chip
Our conversations centred on what laser-assisted bioprinting brings to microphysiological systems. The NGB platform prints complex biological constructs with single-cell resolution, placing cells and fragile 3D objects without a nozzle and without the shear stress that damages living material - the precision that organ-on-chip models demand.
We talked visitors through how the platform's dedicated modules work together:
