High-value modules

The technologies that set the NGB-R® apart, from the laser core to AI-driven organoid handling.

Laser-assisted bioprinting at high resolution
Laser-Assisted Bioprinting

No nozzle. No shear stress.

LAB is based on laser-induced forward transfer (LIFT). A pulsed laser propels picoliter-to-nanoliter droplets from a gold-coated donor slide to the receiver, with zero mechanical contact and no constricted channel.

PickCell

Organoids, placed by AI

An AI-powered module combining image recognition and LAB for on-demand picking and placement of 50 to 300 µm cell aggregates into complex 3D constructs.

In-line Microscope

See every layer, in process

Integrated microscopy for in-process monitoring at 2 µm resolution. Image cell patterns without taking bioprinted tissues out of the cabinet.

ViewPrint™

Bioprint exactly where you want

ViewPrint software lets you bioprint on user-defined positions on substrates, for targeted deposition with full spatial control.

Software & automation

Design the tissue, run the build

Zebr4D CAD turns your tissue design into a build the platform can execute. The NGB HMI runs on a 22-inch touchscreen, powered by an on-board AI PC with NPU, for a fully automated, traceable workflow.

  • Zebr4D for tissue CAD
  • NGB HMI for setting every parameter
  • Workflow fully automated, end-to-end traceability

Built on four pillars

Pillar 1 Modularity & flexibility Upgrade and complete when you need. Multiple heads, broad bio-ink compatibility.
Pillar 2 Resolution & precision Laser-assisted bioprinting at single-cell precision, with in-line control.
Pillar 3 Robotization & automation A 6-axis arm and a fully automated workflow, driven by Zebr4D CAD.
Pillar 4 Biosafety & compliance Class II cabinet, sterilizable, end-to-end traceability.
From research to clinic

When you are ready for GMP, the NGB-C® continues

The NGB-R® and NGB-C® share the same architecture. Strategies you develop on the NGB-R® carry over to the NGB-C®, a clinical-grade, GMP-compliant bioprinter built for ATMP manufacturing. One continuum, from your first prototype to the clinic.
